The 63-year-old “The Usual Suspects” and “American Beauty” actor Kevin Spacey has previously refuted five charges.
Kevin Spacey spoke only to state his full name, Kevin Spacey Fowler, date of birth, and address in Waterloo, south London, at Westminster Magistrates Court in central London.
His outfit included a dark suit, a bright blue tie, and glasses.
His attorney, Patrick Gibbs, informed the court that the initial expectation had been for his client to travel from the United States.
Without going into detail, he just stated that his “travel plans had altered”. And that he was now arriving from the Middle East.
Chief magistrate Paul Goldspring approved the request for him to appear virtually after determining that being present in person would have been challenging.
In the midst of a wave of industrial upheaval in Britain, the court questioned whether the defendant would have arrived from the airport given the rail strike.
Spacey is charged with three counts of sexual assault and one count of encouraging another person to engage in sexual activity without that person’s consent, according to the prosecution’s last month authorized case.
The accused committed the crimes between 2001 and 2004 and involve a single victim.
Kevin Spacey Pleaded Not Guilty To Five Identical Charges
In July Kevin Spacey pleaded not guilty to five identical charges as opposed to three men in London and Gloucestershire, Western England between 2005 and 2013.
On June 6, he will stand trial for those charges.
Goldspring granted Spacey unrestricted freedom until his January 13 court appearance on the more recent accusations.
Spacey has scheduled the hearing to attend in person.
The English regulation forbids anyone from figuring out any of the alleged victims, and there are regulations on how plenty of facts may be shared earlier than a trial.
In October, Spacey, who served as artistic director of London’s Old Vic Theatre from 2004 to 2015. He had a $40 million sexual misconduct lawsuit against him dismissed by a New York judge.

Spacey has always refuted claims of sexual abuse.
