curses, cliques, and love connections!
Many of you have already seen the cursed season 2 trailer that made rounds online the other day. The trailer was full of exciting images and hype. However, there’s now silence from Netflix about their future plans for cursed season 2. This doesn’t come as a surprise to die hard fans who are eagerly waiting for the second season of this crime thriller. Here’s some information on the matter from my sources.
According to my sources, Netflix has set a July release date for their second series of this popular crime drama. However, while the official announcement about the streaming of cursed season 2 has not yet been issued by the streaming site, various rumors are floating around. Sources say that Netflix has finally confirmed that they are looking at a release of their show sometime in July. However, since the official release has not yet been issued, these rumors have circulated. Some even say that the company may still hold out for a couple more months to let the die-hard fans of this fantasy drama feel a little bit disappointed as there’s no confirmation on the release date.
Apart from speculations, there are also rumors about the number of episodes we can expect for cursed season 2. My sources say there will be seven episodes for the first season, with the final episode being an hour long special. The plot of the story revolves around a newly-installed vampire crime lord who rules New Orleans. He eradicates the vampires in the city and banishes the remaining humans. However, unbeknownst to the human race, he intends to breed more vampires and use them as soldiers to annihilate the remaining humans. The vampire warlord then declares a war on the city and the remaining humans are forced to flee.
One thing for sure is that there will be plenty of hype leading up to the premiere of cursed season 2. The first teaser trailer was very successful, as many were glued to the screen waiting for the exciting climax. A lot of trailers have been released already, but the new one will surely be the most interesting. During the trailer, the first episode is shown, giving fans a preview of what they can expect from the thrilling series. When the trailer finally ends, there will be a lot of buzz about the new series.
The first episode of the second season is said to be “eps2.3.” The writers are also promising a lot of surprises for everyone, especially for those die-hard fans who loved watching the first season with their whole family. The writers are also hinting towards some of the possible suspects behind the crime. There are a few actors who have been confirmed to join the cast of cursed season 2, including the adorable Danny McPherson as Father Carden and Aidan Gillen as Mary Jefferson. Danny McPherson is now in Hollywood after his stints in Smallville and Frasier, while Aidan Gillen has been playing SAM McPherson on spinoff of the hit TV show Smallville.
In the first season, Sam (Dylan Sprayberry) was a young man working for an engineering firm. However, following an unfortunate car accident where Sam’s friend gets severely injured, Sam starts having dreams about a young woman who appears to be his daughter, Summer (Kirsten Dunst). Sam’s life is turned upside down when he finds out that his wife has been cheating on him. He then engages in a quest to find her and become her father figure. However, Sam’s quest will put him in the middle of a power struggle between his good friend, Victoria (Jennifer Aniston), and the evil President (Stephen King). The season 2 promo images feature both Summer and Victoria, along with the ominous ‘Cursed’ tagline.
With Summer as his love interest, Sam’s life is turned upside down when he finds out that she’s been cheating on him. Rumors that her lover is a werewolf started spreading, causing paranoia and tension in Sam’s life. Meanwhile, Victoria continues on her path to being President by controlling her power with the curse that has been plaguing humanity since the beginning of time. Now that the second season of cursed season 2 has come to an end, what will happen to Sam and Victoria?
Well, according to Syfy, it’s time for Victoria to get some serious love interest, and in the form of a dead one. In the penultimate episode of cursed season 2, titled ‘The Lost Girl’, Victoria heads off with SAM to find someone they can fall in love with; this includes Abraham Ford (Patton Oswalt), a former soldier turned werewolf, and a very sexy one at that. One of the more interesting subplots of the episode, however, concerns Victoria’s pregnancy. You can read about it below:
