Which one in the world is most unique travel destination? What is the one thing that really makes it stand out from the rest? For me, I would say Panama. I have been there several times now and I can thoroughly say that it is by far my favorite place to visit. The place has something unique for everything that I have experienced there. It is truly a unique destination.
The most unique travel destination listed on my list is very interesting! In the center of the Peruvian Sacred Valley there are many salt mines known as Salineras de Maras which seem so unusual, they ended up being one of the most visited tourist attractions in Peru. The salt rocks are considered sacred by many Peruvians and many of them are killed every year to be picked up by tourists.
Next on my list of unusual holiday destinations is the coastal town of Tambomachay. This place offers tourists the best view of the sea and the nearby marine life. Tambomachay is also a famous fishing spot and the locals know all the best spots to fish. In this area, you will find the perfect nightlife as well. There are bars and clubs with great music playing all night long. You will see the locals dance all night long to music coming from giant speakers.
The third unusual but very beautiful travel destination is Cusco. Cusco is located at the eastern end of South America. While in Cusco you will not have any problems finding some unique or unusual places to stay. Hotels and hostels abound in Cusco and most of them are affordable. Some unique hotels in Cusco are designed like old Spanish homes and have beautiful stone columns.
The fourth and last unusual holiday destination I would like to mention is Patagonia. Patagonia is an isolated and scenic land in the South American continent. It is remote and there are no roads in this area. What you will experience in Patagonia is the pristine areas, spectacular landscapes, animals and even people. The most popular and beautiful place to visit in Patagonia is Puerto Morelos. It is a beautiful village surrounded by lush mountains and it is visited by tourists all the time.
My last unusual travel destination is the region of Salalah. Salalah is the largest city in Egypt. Salalah is a great place to visit for the shopping opportunities and the beautiful blue mountains that surround the city. In Salalah you will also want to make a day trip out to Al-Arid desert.
As you can see these four unique holiday destinations in Egypt are not only going to be very different but they also have their own unique feel and vibe that will be enjoyable for you and your family or friends. One thing I love about Egyptian resorts is the local interaction with the locals. I have spent many a night talking to locals in each of these destinations and I can honestly say that you will get a true sense of the culture and tradition in each area when you spend a night or two in the area.
