Humans have little or nothing in common, but there is one thing we can all agree on we all love pets, and we all love money. The question is – can you alternatively choose to have lots of pets or would you rather have one extremely expensive pet? I understand it’s quite a puzzle.
Let’s saddle up our horses and walk through the valley of expensive pets, shall we? The green monkey is a horse you don’t need to saddle casually, he’s the inexperienced monkey. He’s a racehorse bred by another racehorse. That means he’s an exceptional racehorse, it would seem. In 2009 he was auctioned for $16,000,000 (I double-checked the zero, that’s correct).
Sir Lancelot Encore If you’re like me, you can completely understand naming your Labrador “Sir Lancelot.” But why Encore? Well, the Sir Lancelot Encore is $16,000,000 (again, zero checking) which is what Sir Lancelot’s image is worth. That’s how the Clone Wars started. There’s a guy named Yoda. Does Yoda have a cellular phone?
These Pets Cost So Much You’ll Think Twice About Getting a Regular Cat!
White Lion Cubs
As cute as they are now and as fierce as they’ll become later, they’re $140k a pop. And they’ll eat you for lunch by the time you make the money back. The white color is the product of a recessive gene, which makes them hard to breed.
Tibetan Mastiff
The world’s biggest dog is also the most expensive. A true-blooded Mastiff costs about $582,000, but the last one sold for $1.5 million in 2011.
Skip Missy
Looks like a cow, doesn’t it? Well, this cow gives 50% more milk than normal cows. That makes her worth $1.2 million. Do you know what I get for working 50% harder? An hour off on Fridays.
Arabian Horse
This horse has a very athletic body and is worth $100,000. Why? Why not? I mean, why is Paul Pogba worth $100 million? No one asked that question when Manchester United sold him.
Lavender Albino Ball Python
Some other snakes created with recessive genes are worth up to $40,000.
Palm Cockatoos
These birds have a pink patch on their cheeks that changes color every time they get excited. This and the fact that they are conspicuous birds makes them $16,000 a piece. This is a parrot. A freaken $16,000 parrot for God’s sake!
Savannah Cat
This amazingly playful and friendly pet cat is worth $12,000. I would suggest, it should be very playful so that I feel like the money was well spent.
