With Christmas just a few weeks away, everyone is getting into the holiday spirit. For popular poodle Lavern, this is very reminiscent of the biggest Christmas-themed movie of all time, A Christmas Story, with the famous bunny pajamas, and his reaction is perfect!
Lavern’s dad went all out with this one, and despite the pup’s obvious irritation at the suit, it’s a truly epic moment captured on camera. Check it out!
I can’t help but feel sorry for Lavern, but it’s just too funny! The Nov. 30 clip shared by dog dad Jason Jackson @lavernlepoodle is the epitome of what A Christmas story embodies. If you’re not familiar with the movie, the best thing to know is that a little boy named Ralphie is gifted with a pair of pink bunny pajamas. His mom wants him to try to be healthy, which he does. Ralphie’s embarrassment is precisely what Lavern seems to be feeling in her dress, making for the most charming clip and ideal for celebrating the season.
Of the more than 35,000 people who liked the video and the huge number of comments, everyone agrees that this little one is the best recreation to parade around in such an adorably humiliating onesie.
“It’s the face that made it perfect,” one person wrote. “OMG, this wins TT these days! Terrible Ralphie! Hehe,” another added, while many others raved about Lavern sacrificing himself for the team.
Popular Poodles Love Their Beautiful Families
Lavern’s willingness to go with the pajama giggle gives a little taste of his breed’s temperament. The American Kennel Club describes Popular Poodles as an intelligent, people-oriented breed that is adaptable and “ready to give attention” to your pup. A study of Lavern and you can tell she wants to please her humans, even if that means dressing up in bunny pajamas!
Poodles with the help of nature are attentive and easy to train with the use of consistent beneficial reinforcement training, although they are part of the non-using group, Poodles are considered a high-endurance breed that needs a great deal of exercise to feel good.
These sociable house dogs are usually great with children and stay alert around strangers, making sure their owners are safe and secure. That being said, they generally tend to bark to alert everyone more than some other breeds, but it’s all within the call of love.
Being so friendly, Poodles in general fit in well with an active family, without kids or with kids. And, if you have a red bunny onesie, they’ll be more than happy to try it out for your happiness, even if it annoys them because they’re just that sweet!
