Anastasia loves animals, especially cats, although she couldn’t justify adopting a cute kitten, since she already had eight dogs and 3 horses. But, one day she started looking for a cat that wouldn’t be bothered by having all the dogs around it. Think of a tiny, scared kitten sharing an apartment with a big Husky and a much bigger Samoyed. Yes, determined times require determined measures!
Russian Girl Adopts Adorable Lynx Kitten, Becomes Overnight Internet Sensation!
While she noticed that there are still fur farms where lynx are bred for their fur, she knew what needed to be done. The cat girl decided to adopt the helpless animals and is now sharing their mischievous antics on her Instagram. Geralt, the number one person from “The Witcher” series, is the name that Anastasia gave to the first lynx kitten. He’s just as adventurous as his e-book counterpart, or even more rambunctious when it comes to looking for frozen birds for dinner.
The dogs, in particular, helped Anastasia deal with the wildcat. They entertained her, let her nibble their ears and claws, basically became her pillows, and even didn’t mind when Geralt stole their food. What a great group of friends!
When Geralt turned twelve months old, he decided to adopt another lynx. This time it was a female. Anastasia named her “Bulochka” (which means “bun” in Russian) because she was so cute. Although lynxes usually live alone, Geralt and the bun got along very well, as if they were close family.
Anastasia quickly taught the big cats to use a cat litter box and began walking them on a leash like dogs. However, the neighbours were no longer happy to have wild lynxes living side by side that could pounce on their little puppies at any moment. Some people from animal services even visited Anastasia and saw how the pets were being treated. Fortunately, the crazy cat girl proved that she takes precise care of her animals, and there were no additional miracle raids from the government (so far).
Now Anastasia enjoys living with 13 animals and says that in the future, there is a good chance that she can save more animals from the greasy fingers of fur enthusiasts. Seriously, men, stop wearing fur, you are not cavemen!
