Meet Juniper: The Fox So Cute, It Could Break the Internet!

Can you imagine waking up to this cuteness sleeping next to you? Jessica Coker explains that her foxes, Juniper and Fig, are no longer meant to live in the wild because they have been bred indoors for their fur.

These foxes will not survive outdoors because of their ‘domesticated’ behavior. They have been bred in captivity for over 150 years!

If you think foxes make great pets, we have an awesome tidbit for you. After all, they still behave like little wild animals! Sometimes they behave like cats and puppies, but their wild behavior is still intact.

You can’t just buy a fox. If you want to be the proud owner of this splendor, you have to get a special permit.

You can get a permit from the country’s Department of Herbal Resources, but you have to pass certain qualifications before you can get a permit to keep a fox. Being a fox keeper is not that easy!

If you are still convinced that you want to keep a fox, keep in mind that they love to eat raw meat every day. Raw meat contains a compound called taurine, which foxes need to survive. You can also add some fruits and vegetables for nutrients.

But be careful when you have some marshmallows on the table – those foxes are very fond of treats!

Foxes don’t sleep very much. Their main nap is between 4 am and 9 am, but you may have trouble sleeping at night before that as Juniper roams around the house and plays with everything in her path

But like cats, foxes also want to sleep with their humans. So you may get some bushy treats at night!

Like most animals, foxes love attention. Sometimes Juniper will wake her owner up at night to scratch her head!

Don’t expect foxes to be warm and cuddly 24/7. They are just as independent as cats and will only come to you when they feel like it.

Not many people know that foxes are very pungent. Their urine stinks! This means that you must teach your fox pet to defecate indoors, otherwise your home will become uninhabitable.

Juniper and Fig are taught to defecate, but they still want to mark their territory. It is in their nature!

You must also settle for tolerating the curiosity of these creatures. Do you think cats are very mischievous and like to peek around every corner? Well, foxes are doubly curious!
