In the first episode, they barely spent any time together other than when they were searching for Sunnydale. However, things quickly change when both girls find themselves captured and placed under demon attack.

Now that they are bound by a spell, they can’t go back to their previous lives. The Scooby-gang is called out to save them and to discover what has happened to their friend, Kendra. Meanwhile, Willow tries to convince Buffy to go after Mr. X, while Faith tries to convince Buffy to leave with him.

It turns out that Kendra is actually the demon itself. Although she tries to convince everyone that she is just a normal human being, little does everyone know that she is actually a demon. Things get even worse when Faith reveals to Buffy that she is a demon as well. Everything turns out bad for everyone except for Kendra. In an effort to save the day, and to learn what exactly happened to her, she allows herself to be bitten by demon slayer Dante.

Needless to say, things go bad for everyone in the end. However, there is still one survivor: Kendra. While she is badly injured, she has one advantage over everyone else: she knows where the carnage happened. She goes on to tell everybody about the attack, leading to the entire gang getting together. This is where the new Scooby-gang is introduced.

The gang finds themselves in the middle of a war against the forces of good, and they are in need of help. This leads to the Scooby-gang getting back together, but this time, they have an ally: demon slayer Sunnydale police detective Willow. They learn that the Slayers are actually from the good side and are working to prevent the worst of humanity from taking over the world. The gang ends up going after the Trio, who are trying to get rid of evil. They end up capturing the trio for their own good.

This entire season is exciting for fans of this popular show. It introduces many new characters, gives fans a lot more drama, and introduces new monsters.
