Puppy Rescue Miracle: Abandoned Dog Found in Skip Make Full Recovery and Find Forever Homes!

An animal sanctuary said malnourished puppies dumped in a skip are already well on the way to becoming healthy dogs.

The two were admitted to the Forest of Dean Dog Rescue in Gloucestershire and have been treated for the past two weeks.

Participants told the researchers they could not know the breed of the puppies as those found were dehydrated, emaciated, and weighed one kilogram (2. 2 pounds) each.

According to reports the puppies received treatment at a clinic near the location and they are recovering from sickness this will be ready for re-homing in two or three weeks.

Dean Dog and Rescue forester Jen Cole said the pups were “doing well”.

’They are not there yet still they have a long way to go,’ she continued.

‘Rescues are struggling and this is happening day in, day out,’ said Ms Coles.

She had implored people to ask themselves whether they had time as well as money to take proper care of the animal before adopting.

All the puppies received their treatment at Drybridge Veterinary Clinic

Now, two weeks ago the animal shelter was contacted by a man who went to work and found a box of puppies simply thrown away to a skip.

They were taken to the Drybridge Veterinary Clinic which is located in Coleford for treatment.

They all said that on that particular day, they probably put a lot of effort into it to get a chance to work with them.

On this site, I was shocked when I read that two of the puppies were on drips and nearly did not pull through.

“They were greatly startled and I often think if that went on the two of them would have died.”

On Wednesday the puppies got their vaccinations and microchips after they recovered from the illness.

The breed is still unknown and in a few days, a DNA test will be conducted on the pet to correct it.

Ms Cole said they still required a lot of assistance and they were to be fetched into foster homes to ‘polish their personalities.’

The rescue center would begin the process of homing the puppies within the next few weeks but they urged the public not to call the center in the hope of adopting the puppies.
