The Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam versions of Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s movie “12th Fail” will be available worldwide on October 27. Vikrant Massey is in it. The teaser for Vidhu Vinod Chopra and ZEE Studios’ upcoming movie, “12th Fail Movie,” has been released following the announcement of their first-ever collaboration. Starting on Friday, the teaser and “Gadar 2” will be shown in theaters.
Based on the amazing journey of IPS officers Manoj Kumar Sharma and Shraddha Joshi of the IRS, the film 12th Fail movie tells their story. Millions of actual accounts of students who took the UPSC, the most difficult competitive exam in the world, served as the basis for the film. With real students and real locations, “12th Fail Movie” adopts an authentic approach to show the grit, integrity, and tenacity of UPSC students as well as the lasting friendships they form.
Produced by Zee Studios, 12th Fail is described as a look into the journey of students preparing for the esteemed UPSC exams. Chopra, known for movies like Parinda, 1942: A Love Story, and Mission Kashmir, said his new movie is a tribute to the honorable officers who protect the Indian Constitution and the countless students who aspire to be like them.
This movie pays homage to everyone who sees failure as a chance to #RESTART and includes Shantanu Moitra’s high-octane anthem “Restart.” Both Raftaar and Swanand Kirkire contributed to its two versions. Both anthems give a new voice to the generation of today that never gives up.
Director Vidhu Vinod Chopra said this about the teaser: “This film stands as a tribute to the honest officers who safeguard our Constitution and the countless students who aspire to follow in their footsteps. I would consider this movie a success if it even motivates a small number of people to pursue integrity and excellence.

Talking about the film, Vidhu Vinod Chopra earlier said, “I have a feeling that this could be my best-performed film till date. When I started filming ’12th Fail Movie’, I had no idea I would end up enjoying it this much, that it would perhaps turn out to be one of my best films. Vikrant Massey earlier said, “My experience on this film was phenomenal… probably the best experience I ever had. It is one of the most special stories that I am a part of… and also one of the most challenging parts that I had to play. I’m really, really excited. One thing that I want to say is that the entire journey of the character was very personal for me… in the last 2 months of filming I have lived 6 to 8 months of my life.”
